Hi! I’m Grace Guerilla, Small Business evolution specialist.
I’m excited to launch my debut as spokesperson and advocate for small business here at etc!graphics, inc.. My goal is to coach and encourage you, and to provide marketing resources to help you to be the best you can be! The entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well, and has always been the backbone of the US economy. Survival is our patriotic duty!
There is a real art to small business. One needs to be good at a great number of things. Then, as soon as you are good at something? It changes. Some things are changing so fast, we cannot dream of what will happen next. You may do something a certain way your whole life, and then all of a sudden, it just doesn’t work anymore. It is truly survival of the fittest. Sometimes in frustration I evolve backward for brief periods and run screaming through the trees.
Lest we feel too sorry for ourselves, our ancestors also experienced crises where entire sections of the food chain were wiped out overnight due to environmental change. Primary resources fell like dominoes. Sound familiar? It is. Beak too short? Sorry, you’re dead. But when has small business attracted the spineless? Business must change, and evolution has never been easy. In lean times, we need a mindset shift. Find healthy ways to beat the heat. (Don’t let anyone tell you that global warming in the urban jungle is anything but very real!)
Perhaps you are not as massive as the competition, but the smaller you are, the faster you can move. And swim with the sharks? Peanuts if you’re a piranha: sharks fear you! Don’t ever stop making noise. Hang with positive companions. Clarify your vision, your focus and your dreams. Don’t try to be something you aren’t. Be the best at who you are.
